Stress Management
Stress is described as the feeling of being overwhelmed with emotional pressure and not being able to cope with or control it. Although purely a state of mind, stress manifests heavily in a person’s physiology and may cause problems of a serious nature. Chronic stress contributes heavily to the development of psychiatric disorders and can impact the speed and depth of their appearance. We also recognize its impact on our daily lives, our emotions and our physical health. Our therapists prepare a comprehensive stress management program for our patients and conduct them individually or through group therapy programs. Patients are guided through the process of understanding how to handle stress and how to avoid its negative effects and to pace the future. They are also guided in applying relaxation exercises which help greatly to bring down stress.
